Los Angeles County, Saturday, July 12, will be hosting a virtual workshop to help guide Eaton fire survivors looking to rebuild their home.
It will be focusing on the use of mobile homes, manufactured homes and factory-built housing.
“These alternative housing types offer residents a path to return home sooner while meeting modern safety and code requirements,” Supervisor Kathryn Barger said in a statement. “This is an essential opportunity for Eaton Fire survivors to learn about innovative and practical solutions for rebuilding.”
Attendees will have the chance for a live question-and-answer session with state and county officials during the workshop. The workshop begins at 10 a.m. and attendees must register in advance.
