This edition of the Top 10 rankings sees Valencia move up to No. 2; Westlake leap to No. 3 after a convincing win over rival Thousand Oaks; and Notre Dame drop after a surprising loss to Bishop Amat, which lost to Chaminade 35-0.
Additionally, Paraclete makes its Top 10 debut after taking down St. Pius.
1. Sierra Canyon (7-0): The Trailblazers beat Chaminade 45-14 and have outscored their opponents 308-30 this season. QB Laird Finkel is getting better each week. | vs. Notre Dame
2. Valencia (6-1): Vikings rout Canyon 55-3. | at Golden Valley
3. Westlake (7-0): The Warriors make a statement with an impressive 42-21 win over Thousand Oaks. Demanie Bell ran for 209 yards and four touchdowns on 22 carries. | vs. Newbury Park
4. Chaminade (3-4): The Eagles fell to Sierra Canyon 45-14, but beat Bishop Amat 35-0 last week, so they leapfrog Notre Dame. | at Serra
5. Notre Dame (4-3): Bishop Amat’s Ryan Salcedo ran for 351 yards and five touchdowns to single-handedly beat Notre Dame, 36-29. | at Sierra Canyon
6. Newbury Park (5-2): The Panthers win their first game after losing QB Brady Smigiel for the season. Tyler Mayer threw for 191 yards and four touchdowns in a 46-14 win over Calabasas. | at Westlake
7. Agoura (5-2): The Chargers move to 2-0 in league play after a 50-7 win over Dos Pueblos. Gavin Gray threw six touchdowns and ran for another. | vs. Fillmore
8. Hart (6-2): Jacob Paisano and Matix Frithsmith combine for five touchdowns in a 49-0 win over Castaic. | at Canyon
9. Saugus (6-2): The Centurions rout West Ranch 54-6 thanks to seven touchdown passes from Jack Nuttall on 19 of 22 passing for 325 yards. | vs. Castaic
