A London councillor’s Lamborghini has been seen parked in disabled spots on two separate occasions without a blue badge.
Farhaan Rehman, who sits on Hounslow Council, is being investigated after his light blue Urus SE SUV was spotted parked outside the local authority’s offices.
Although no finding of fault has been made against him, Hounslow Labour confirmed they are investigating the images, MyLondon reports.
The parking spaces are owned and managed by the council, which said it was a matter for the local party.
But if a member of the public was caught doing the same thing in the borough, the council would order them to pay a £160 fixed penalty notice.
Mr Rehman is yet to comment.
In October, a woman was fined £150 for pouring dregs of her coffee down the drain near Richmond Station.
Burcu Yesilyurt finished her drink while waiting for a bus, and thought pouring the dregs down a drain was the right thing to do to prevent her coffee from spilling on the bus.
However, three enforcement officers approached Burcu and fined her under the section 33 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, which makes it an offence to deposit or dispose of waste in a way likely to pollute land or water, including pouring liquids into street drains.
Ms Yesilyurt told the BBC: ‘I noticed my bus was approaching, so I just poured the leftover bit. It wasn’t much, it was just a tiny little bit.’
