LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles police on Wednesday asked for additional potential sexual assault victims to come forward in connection with an in-home nurse who provided care in the San Fernando Valley and greater Los Angeles area and remains in custody.
Francisco Gallegos Loaiza, a licensed nurse, cared for incapacitated patients throughout Los Angeles County, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police said the victims were patients under his care.
He was taken into custody on suspicion of unlawful sexual conduct, and detectives were seeking additional victims who may have been allegedly assaulted by Loaiza while under his care, according to police.
It was unclear when Loaiza was arrested or when the alleged assaults took place.
