Trump-endorsed U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who won 56.8 percent of the GOP primary votes on Tuesday, will face Democratic nominee Dr. Annie Andrews, who won 61.5 percent of the Democratic primary votes, in the general election in November.
As seen below, when asked after the primaries about the Democratic nominee, Graham said, “She seems like an attractive nice lady (with) a couple of kids but, um, what does she believe?”
.@AnnieAndrewsMD is a doctor. Her opponent, @LindseyGrahamSC, refers to her here as “an attractive, nice lady with a couple of kids.”

Graham is being criticized by his detractors for what they characterize as his “misogynist” comment, and for failing to mention that Andrews is a pediatrician.
Dr. Andrews responded to Graham’s question “What does she believe in?” in the video below, in which she lists the things she believes in, including that “health care is a human right,” that “we need to stop the impending Medicaid budget cuts,” that “we need to protect Medicare and Social Security,” and that “we need to fully fund the CDC and NIH.” She also said: “I believe we need to impeach and remove RFK Jr.”
[NOTE: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Is the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services.]
Answering Graham, Andrews listed her beliefs to repeated applause from the audience.
Dems have been looking for their message for years, and @AnnieAndrewsMD just did it (in under two minutes). Take note

Democratic campaign advisor Bri Gillis (Deputy Political Director at the advocacy and research organization focused on preventing gun violence, Giffords) is amplifying Andrews’ video and added: “Dems have been looking for their message for years, and @AnnieAndrewsMD just did it (in under two minutes). Take note.”
