Los Angeles County placed under a heat advisory from Sunday to Tuesday

Los Angeles County is included in a heat advisory released by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 2:25 p.m. The advisory is valid from Sunday 10 a.m. until Tuesday Aug. 25, at 10 a.m.

The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA informs, “Temperatures up to 94 degrees expected.”

“Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events. Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses,” the NWS said.
