Los Angeles County under an extreme heat watch from Wednesday to Monday

Los Angeles County is included in an extreme heat watch issued by the National Weather Service on Monday at 12:26 p.m. The watch is valid from Wednesday 8 p.m. until Monday July 27, at 8 p.m.

The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA informs, “Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures between 97 and 107 degrees possible.”

“There is a high risk for dangerous heat illness for anyone, especially for the very young, the very old, those without air conditioning, and those active outdoors. There is a high risk for heat illness for sensitive populations including the very young, the very old, those without air conditioning, and those active outdoors,” the NWS said.
