Lupe Fiasco to headline Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach Friday concert
Rapper and singer Lupe Fiasco is set to help kick off Southern California’s 200-mph beach party, when he headlines the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach’s Friday concert on April 17.
This year’s Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach will take place in the city’s downtown from April 17-19, offering three days of high-speed fun for racing fans from across the world. The 2025 Grand Prix, celebrating the event’s 50th anniversary, drew around 197,000 spectators to the city’s waterfront.
Each year, the Friday night concert helps kick the weekend into gear. Last year, DJ duo DVBBS, known for hits “Tsunami,” “La La Land,” and “Not Going Home,” delivered an electric set.
Fiasco, meanwhile, is an icon in the hip hop and rap genre, known for his masterful lyricism and innovative sound, the Grand Prix of Long Beach Association said in a Tuesday, March 31 announcement.
