No arrests have been made after an early morning homicide that left a 38-year-old man dead on the city’s Far South Side.
It happened about 6 a.m. when the victim, an unidentified 38-year-old man, was found unresponsive, outside in the 10600 block of South State Street, police said.
The victim, who suffered at least one gunshot wound to the head, was dead on the scene, police said. No one else was hurt.
No one is in custody and Area 2 detectives are investigating.
