A 36-year-old man was fatally shot Monday night in the 2100 block of West 52nd Place, according to Chicago police.
Timothy Jackson was near the sidewalk about 6:47 p.m. when he was struck in the head by gunfire, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one is in custody. Detectives are investigating.
