A man was found fatally shot on a sidewalk early Tuesday in Austin on the West Side.
The man, whose age wasn’t immediately known, was found shot in the chest and back around 1:55 a.m. in the 4800 block of West Adams Street, Chicago police said.
The unidentified man was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Area Four detectives are investigating and no one was in custody.
