A man was found dead on Tuesday near Boulder Falls.
Boulder County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a 911 call about a body near Boulder Falls at 12:51 p.m. in the 33000 block of Boulder Canyon Drive, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.
They found a man on the east side of Boulder Falls and he was pronounced dead at the scene, the release stated.
The death does not appear to be suspicious, according to the release. The Boulder County Coroner’s Office will determine the man’s identity and the cause and manner of his death.
The man was found in “complex terrain,” so Rocky Mountain Rescue Group was called to assist in the response.
Boulder County Parks and Open Space rangers, City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks rangers, and American Medical Rescue also participated in the response.
