
A man was sexually assaulted then punched by a male reveller on a Wetherspoons dance floor.
The victim was at Union Rooms, in Plymouth city centre, when he was attacked on Friday, September 12.
Devon and Cornwall Police has released an image of a man they would like to identify in connection with the incident.
The victim’s ordeal unfolded when a suspect groped him, police say.
When he challenged the man, he was punched multiple times, leaving him with a cut face and needing medical treatment.

Officers investigating the incident have asked the public to come forward if they recognise the man pictured.
They believe the man, seen wearing a light-coloured hooded top, may have useful information.

A Wetherspoons spokesperson told Metro that that the company was ‘horrified that this incident took place inside the pub’ and that the establishment had an otherwise ‘excellent reputation’.
British Transport Police, meanwhile, yesterday appealed for help identifying a man after a woman was sexually assaulted on a train in Yorkshire.
The police force said the incident took place on a train from Yorkshire to Selby shortly before 8pm on Sunday, December 14.
Investigating officers have released an image of a bald man wearing a black jacket and light-coloured trainers.
They believe he may have information that would help their investigation.
