Man jailed after launching homophobic attack on neighbours over ‘music’

I genuinely thought this was the end.???Ms Morgan said in the footage the victim could be heard shouting at the defendant: ???You???re going to kill me.???A court heard he wanted to scare his neighbours and had been drinking heavily.Ms Morgan said: "He said he wanted to watch a film. ???He said he was being disturbed.??? Ms Morgan said.He pleaded guilty on August 22 to making threats to kill, intentional strangulation, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and common assault.Andrew Kendall, defending, said while the attack involved homophobia it wasn???t motivated by it.He said it was motivated by a noise dispute between neighbours.Clissord-Gough, of Rhydyfelin, Pontypridd, admitted making threats to kill, intentional strangulation, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and common assault. A neighbour has been jailed for attacking a gay couple living next door over their noisy music.

Conner Clissord-Gough, 33, stormed out of his home in Wales, complaining that the sounds from next door meant he couldn’t hear his television.

A court heard he barged through his neighbours’ door before dragging one to the floor to call him a ‘little b****.’

CCTV footage shows the victim pleading with Clissord-Gough to stop as he held him on the floor, as his partner fled to hide in a bedroom.

As he was wrestled to the ground, the victim shouted at his partner: ‘Don’t come out. Call the police, babe.’

Prosecutor Elin Morgan said the victims were a same-sex couple and the attack was homophobic.
