Man killed in overnight shooting near Ruby Hill Park


A man was killed overnight Friday in a shooting near Ruby Hill Park.

The shooting happened near the intersection of Platte River Drive and Florida Avenue, Denver police said in a 1:15 a.m. Saturday post on X.

UPDATE: The adult male victim has been pronounced deceased. This is being investigated as a homicide. The Office of the Medical Examiner will release the victim’s name and cause of death. Anyone with information is asked to call @CrimeStoppersCO

Police reported the man died Saturday morning about 10 a.m.

The Office of the Medical Examiner will release the victim’s name and cause of death.
