Man stabbed near Yerba Buena High School in San Jose


SAN JOSE – Authorities on Thursday afternoon were investigating a stabbing near Yerba Buena High School in San Jose.

The stabbing was reported at 2:21 p.m. in the 1800 block of Lucretia Avenue, the San Jose Police Department said in a social media post.

A man was transported to an area hospital with an injury that was not considered life-threatening, police said.

Additional information about the stabbing, including a suspect description and motive, was not immediately available. Authorities were investigating whether the stabbing involved any high school students.

Units are currently investigating a stabbing incident in the 1800 block of Lucretia Av.

One adult male with a NON-life threatening injury was transported to a local hospital.

Unknown suspect/s or motive at this time.
