A man was fatally stabbed on Friday, July 31 in the area of a Metrolink station in San Fernando, and the suspect remained at large.
Officers responded at about 2:05 p.m. Friday to the 12200 block of Frank Modugno Drive to reports of a stabbing.
Police said a man, roughly 30 to 40 years old and on a bicycle, stabbed the other man before fleeing.
The victim’s name was withheld pending notification of relatives.
The suspect was wearing a black hat and an orange vest.
Investigators had not yet determined what led to the stabbing, which occurred at or near the Sylmar/San Fernando Station.
