A man who was died days after he was shot in Humboldt Park last week has been identified and his death has been ruled a homicide.
Raymond Hammitte, 38, died of multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide, according to a Wednesday autopsy done by the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Hammitte was in the 800 block of North Kedzie Avenue around 5:10 p.m. Sept. 10 when he was shot in the face and head, Chicago police said.
Hammitte, whose address was not immediately known, was taken to Stroger Hospital and died on Sept. 15,according to police and the medical examiner’s office.
Area detectives were investigating.
