Foul play is not suspected after the body of a man was found in a parked police vehicle Thursay morning at the city’s Calumet District station in the Pullman neighborhood.
The remains were found in the backseat of a new, unused police vehicle while vehicles were being moved around about 9:15 a.m. in the 700 block of East 112th Street, police said.
The vehicle has never been in service and was parked at the East 112th Street address. The victim, whose name and age were not immediately known, was dead on the scene.
No foul play is suspected, according to police, who said the remains may have been there awhile.
Area 2 detectives are conducting a death investigation.
