The investigation into a man’s death in Palmdale is continuing Sunday, June 7, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
Deputies responded at 9 p.m. Saturday to the 500 block of East Palmdale Boulevard and the man was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
They later learned the man sustained multiple stab wounds.
A videographer at the scene said the man was found down on the pavement, bleeding profusely, after being struck by a vehicle following the initial stabbing.
The motorist remained at the scene, according to the witness.
The initial stabbing appeared to have occurred in the alley of a now defunct Marias’ Horseshoe Bar in the 38400 block of 6th Street East, the witness added.
