Massie Promises “Justice Is Coming” on Epstein Files, “Why Did FBI Spend $1 Mil Trying to Redact?”

Rep. Thomas Massie

President Donald Trump on Monday night published more than 160 posts on social media during a five-hour time span. Many of the posts attacked his political opponents, past and present, including the Obamas, California Governor Gavin Newsom, and retired U.S. Navy Captain and former NASA astronaut Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ), among others.

In his attacks, the President complained and amplified conspiracy theories about a variety of topics including autopen pardons and immigration. A prominent political topic he did not address in his abundance of posts was the pending release of the Epstein Files, which was mandated by Congress after a discharge petition championed by Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) got 218 signatures and forced a House vote on Epstein transparency.

Note: After calling the Epstein Files a “Democratic hoax” and chastising Massie for pushing for their release, Trump — who associated with the late Jeffrey Epstein years ago — signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act on November 20, opting not to veto their release.

Trump’s Attorney General Pam Bondi said it will take a month for the Department of Justice to review and redact the files before releasing the Epstein Files.

Four hours before Trump’s social media blitz, Massie wrote on X: “If Epstein Files are a hoax, why did:

Massie concluded his post with the prediction/promise: “Justice is coming.”

Many of Massie’s supporters are replying with gratitude for his work on the issue, but also with skepticism. As one replied: “It’s a hoax in the sense that justice will never be served. Those files are corrupted ever since Trump came back into office.”

Another replied: “The downside of all of this is we know most of the records have already been destroyed. With all this pressure from the American people to release the files and arrest pedophiles, we would have seen some arrests by now. I know @FBIDirectorKash and @FBIDDBongino are useless, however it’s safe to assume most of the incriminating evidence is long gone. I truly hope I’m wrong and justice is delivered for the victims.”

Note: The DOJ has until December 20 to release the files to the public in a searchable format. In addition, the Epstein Files Transparency Act dictates that “not later than 15 days after the required publication, DOJ must report to Congress (1) all categories of information released and withheld, (2) a summary of any redactions made, and (3) a list of all government officials and politically exposed individuals named or referenced in the published materials.”

As seen below, Massie has a signed copy of the Epstein Files Transparency Act hanging in his office.
