Former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, who is running for Governor of Ohio with President Donald Trump‘s endorsement, has fallen behind Democratic nominee Amy Acton, according to the election prediction market Polymarket.
As seen below, Polymarket reported: “Vivek Ramaswamy no longer projected to be Ohio’s next governor, falling to a 47% chance as Democrat Amy Acton surges into the lead.”
[NOTE: Acton, a physician, served as Governor Mike DeWine‘s director of the Ohio Department of Health during the COVID-19 pandemic.]
Former U.S. Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) responded to the Polymarket odds with a “paid partnership” post, asking: “Do we think this is reflective of an overall change in the OH political environment? Or is it something Vivek said?”

Courageous Conservatives PAC, whose current homepage headline is promoting Ken Paxton for Senate in Texas, replied to Gaetz: “It’s something he said,” but didn’t elaborate.
A self-described MAGA and Trump supporter in Ohio replied to Gaetz: “I live in Ohio. I don’t ever see any positive campaign ads for Vivek. I only see ads for Amy Acton. I am MAGA, and will never vote for Acton. But what’s up with Vivek?”
