The Duchess of Sussex praised her husband in a birthday post to the duke, who turns 42 today.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have returned to live in the UK, just in time for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to start school and for the duke’s birthday.
The Duchess of Sussex has been actively posting on her Instagram page recently amid the family’s big move from California.
In a post today, she shared a carousel of heartwarming images of Harry with her and the children, with a folk cover of Simply the Best playing in the background.

Meghan wrote in the caption: ‘He’s simply the best.
‘Happy birthday, my love.’
The images revealed a glimpse into the couple’s home life with Lilibet and Archie over the past year, who are usually kept strictly away from the public eye.
One snap showed Harry skiing on a slope with Lilibet, five, and giving her a kiss while Meghan appears to be behind the wheel of a golf cart.
In another picture, Harry drives an ATV with Archie, seven, sitting behind him with his sister, while a black Labrador follows them close by.
Meghan also shared an image showing Harry teaching Archie to shoot with arrows, and the couple kissing in a vineyard.
The Sussexes and their children have been settling into their new life back in Britain after six years in the US.
While the couple are said to be ‘happy to be back’ in the UK, rumours are claiming that they swapped schools for the children due to security issues on the school run.
A source claimed that while the school itself was ‘perfect,’ the security teams were struggling to reach it in a convoy due to traffic.
Meghan and Harry stepped away from royal duties in 2020 when they relocated to Montecito, California, an exclusive enclave known for its celebrity residents.
Prince Harry and Meghan returned on brief visits to the UK over the years, including for Queen Elizabeth’s Jubilee, her funeral and a long-awaited reunion with King Charles last month.
The monarch met his two grandchildren in Highgrove during the family’s summer trip before the move.
A royal source said Harry was left ‘buoyed, very happy and really energised’ by the visit, which was the first time in four years Charles had spent time with Archie and Lilibet.
Following the Sussexes’ UK return, the Royal Household issued a letter clarifying their ongoing status as private citizens.
The letter reminded that the couple stepped down from undertaking representative duties on behalf of the King after the US relocation in January 2020, and they are no longer working members of the royal family.
Harry and Meghan’s spokesperson said the couple were left ‘a little surprised’ by the letter, and were not told about it in advance.
