A woman suffered “very minor” injuries after a Metra BNSF line train hit her vehicle in Hinsdale on Monday, according to police.
An inbound train hit the vehicle, occupied by a woman, at the Monroe Street crossing around noon, a Metra spokesperson told the Sun-Times.
She was the lone occupant, and was transported to Hinsdale Hospital for “very minor injuries,” Hisdale police said in an email.
The crash halted inbound and outbound trains until about 1:15 p.m., Metra said. Rush hour trains should not be impacted Monday evening, Metra said.
