
A man is dead after suffering multiple stab wounds during the early hours of this morning in south London.
Met officers were called to Rushey Green, Catford, shortly after 3am on Wednesday, October 15.
Paramedics treated in a man in his 20s for stab wounds before rushing him to hospital.
The man died due to his injuries, police said. A crime scene remains in place.

There have been no arrests and detectives’ enquiries are ongoing.
Police have cordoned off a busy shopping area between Ringstead Road and Honley Road in both directions.
Local Borough Commander Trevor Lawry said: ‘Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of this young man who have lost someone they love in such a tragic way.
“I know the community will have concerns following this incident, a dedicated homicide team is currently working to piece together this morning’s events.’
He urged people with information to step forward and thanked local residents for their patience.
A local shopkeeper, who asked not to be named, said a significant police presence remained at the scene.
He said: ‘We just noticed that police are there since this morning. We’ve never come across this sort of incident before.’
A Met Police spokesperson said: ‘Police were called at 03:06hrs on Wednesday, 15 October to Rushey Green, SE6 following reports of a stabbing.
‘Met officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service, who treated a man in his 20s for stab wounds before taking him to a nearby hospital.
‘Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of the emergency services, he died from his injuries.
‘A murder investigation has been launched and a crime scene is in place. There has been no arrests.
‘Enquiries into the circumstances remain ongoing.’
