A CTA Blue Line passenger pulled out a sharp object and plunged it into another passenger’s neck Wednesday night in the Loop.
It unfolded around 7:25 p.m. in the 500 block of South LaSalle Street when a 36-year-old man began fighting with an another passenger he didn’t know, Chicago police said.
The passenger, brandishing a sharp object, and stabbed the 36-year-old man before fleeing, police said.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital with cuts to his neck and body and was listed in fair condition, authorities said.
Area 3 detectives were investigating.
