The St. Louis Blues adopted Laura Branigan’s classic hit song “Gloria” during their playoff run, playing it moments after home wins, blaring it in the streets after games, and playing it non-stop on radio stations.
Well, something cool happened back in St. Louis on Wednesday night after the Blues won the Stanley Cup with a 4-1 victory over the Bruins in Boston. The jam band Phish just so happened to be having a concert at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis and moments after the Blues won, the band broke out a version of “Gloria.”

So, @phish is playing St. Louis tonight. My buddy, a die-hard Blues/Phish fan, is there (his 63rd Phish show). He said all the TVs in the arena had the game on.
And now Phish just played Gloria -> Loving Cup.
That’s amazing. So damn cool.
