Nearly 20 years after the release of “Welcome to the Black Parade,” My Chemical Romance is back on the road in celebration of that landmark album.
The 2006 concept album, which shot back onto multiple charts recently, follows the story of a man dying from cancer called “The Patient.” The current tour’s performances create a narrative in the fictional country of Draag, which is led by the Great Immortal Dictator.
The New Jersey rockers brought their “Long Live the Black Parade” tour to Soldier Field on Friday. New wave legends Devo opened the show. Check out photos from their performances below.
