Hundreds started their Thanksgiving on the starting line Thursday morning as part of the 8th annual Turkey Trot at the Rose Bowl.
People of all ages ran the 5K race around the Rose Bowl Loop. All entry fees went directly to the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation. This year the Rose Bowl partnered with Pasadena Unified School District through the Pasadena Educational Foundation Eaton Fire Response.
Runners were able to participate with their pets and organizers encouraged participants dress in Thanksgiving inspired costumes.
