Football players from the 2026 USC Trojans on Wednesday proved they are just as skilled as eluding the ball as catching or running with it in a lively morning on the Hermosa Beach sand.
The highlight of USC Beach Day, mostly a workout and meet-and-greet for fans held south of the Hermosa Beach Pier between 9th and 10th Street, was a wild game of dodgeball that delighted the beachgoers who looked on.
Fans in attendance also got the chance to watch workouts, meet players and snag some autographs.
The Trojans return to action against San Jose State at the Coliseum on Aug. 29. They open Big 10 play at Rutgers on Sept. 19.
USC’s grueling schedule includes Oregon, Ohio State, Indiana, Washington, Penn State, Wisconsin, Maryland and crosstown rival UCLA.
