A pickup truck drove through a fence and hit two unoccupied planes at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport on Monday morning, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver of the pickup truck was taken to the hospital and no one else was injured, according to a 9:39 a.m. X post by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident is under investigation and there is no threat to the public or anyone at the airport, according to the sheriff.
An investigation is ongoing.
