EuroMillions players have been urged to check their tickets as five lucky people have won close to £100,000.
Nobody was lucky enough to win Friday night’s massive EuroMillions jackpot, meaning it has rolled over to a massive £54million.
But even though the top prize remained unclaimed, there were still thousands of people who ended their Good Friday financially better off.
Friday night’s National Lottery EuroMillions winning numbers were 20, 27, 35, 39, and 48, with 03 and 08 as the Lucky Stars.
Nobody claimed the top prize by matching all five numbers and Lucky Stars, but five people claimed the second prize by matching all five numbers and one Lucky Star.
They’ve each received a £92,640.70 prize – and one of those winners was in Ireland.
That ticket was purchased on Thursday, April 17 from Centra Delgany, Wicklow Arms, Delgany, Co Wicklow, and the National Lottery is urging all players in the area to check carefully to see if they’re the lucky winner.
On top of those prizes, six people won just over £18,000 after matching all five numbers, and 44 people won £766.30 after matching four numbers and both Lucky Stars.
The next EuroMillions draw will take place on Tuesday, April 22, and the jackpot is an estimated £54million.
There have been quite a few lucky people picking up large Lottery prizes in recent days.
One lucky ticket holder stepped forward to claim the Lotto jackpot of just over £5.2million, and earlier this week someone from Sevenoaks won the Set For Life prize, equivalent to £10,000 a month for the next 30 years – although the ticket holder hasn’t come forward yet.
Earlier this month a lucky person won a £7.3million jackpot, and over in the US someone won an incredible $349million.
