Chicago police are investigating after a woman was pulled from the Little Calumet River in West Pullman Wednesday morning and later died, according to the department.
The woman, 26, was pulled out of the water in the 13000 block of South Indiana Avenue at 10:48 a.m., police said. She was taken to Roseland Hospital, where she later died.
Her death is under investigation.
