Chicago police are looking for the driver of a sport-utility vehicle wanted in connection with a hit-and-run that seriously injured someone early Wednesday in Avondale on the Northwest Side.
The incident occurred around 2:40 a.m. Wednesday in the 3600 block of West Diversey Avenue and left a person with serious injuries, police said.
The wanted vehicle was a dark-gray four-door SUV with yellow Illinois temporary plates that fled the scene after the accident, officials said.
