In an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Thursday, President Donald Trump had a hard time saying what he would do in office if elected to a second term.
Trump responded to Hannity’s question about a second term by meandering through a series of tangents.
“I was in Washington I think 17 times, all of a sudden I’m President of the United States, you know the story, I’m riding down Pennsylvania Avenue with our First Lady and I say, ‘This is great,'” Trump said.
“You make some mistakes, like, you know, an idiot like [John] Bolton, all he wanted to do is drop bombs on everybody. You don’t have to kill people.”

President Donald Trump got tied up Thursday night in a Fox News interview when asked by Sean Hannity what he would want to accomplish in a second term.
“What’s at stake in this election as you compare and contrast, and what are your priorities for a second term?” Hannity asked.
From there, Trump went on a meandering series of tangents before the conversation moved on to John Bolton and his tell-all book.
Trump was unable to outline any policies are priorities he would pursue in a second term, other than perhaps his anti-Bolton maxim of “You don’t have to kill people.”
Sean Hannity just asked Trump in his townhall what his priority items would be for a second term and wtf please listen to this. It goes from saying he never slept over in D.C. before becoming president and ends with calling John Bolton an idiot. pic.twitter.com/53Hsf1ZOjg

Trump began by talking about how he now has the benefit of experience after arriving to the White House as a political rookie, even though “I always say talent is more important than experience.”
“But the word experience is a very important word,” Trump said. “It’s a very important meaning. I never did this before, I never slept over in Washington.
“I was in Washington I think 17 times, all of a sudden I’m President of the United States, you know the story, I’m riding down Pennsylvania Avenue with our First Lady and I say, ‘This is great.'”
Trump went on to say he didn’t really know anybody in D.C. politics as a Manhattan businessman, but “Now I know everybody.”
“And I have great people in this administration,” Trump said. “You make some mistakes, like, you know, an idiot like [John] Bolton, all he wanted to do is drop bombs on everybody. You don’t have to kill people.”
Once Trump mentioned Bolton, Hannity carried the conversation onto the former National Security Advisor and his tell-all book.
