This is the shocking moment a raging motorist got inside an AA recovery van and drove it before throwing away the keys.
The incident, which took place outside Holbeach Road McDonald’s in Spalding this past Friday, saw a member of the public become frustrated when he couldn’t drive his car through a gap.
Despite the AA worker trying to help the man through the gap, which an eyewitness claims was wide enough to fit the car through, the man repeatedly sounded his horn.
After a while, the man got out of his car and entered the AA van before driving it forwards.
He then got out of the van and threw away the AA worker’s keys. An eyewitness claims he also used offensive language before driving off.
An AA spokesperson said: ‘Due to the nature of their role, our patrols regularly face challenging situations during their working day.

‘As this incident is now the subject of a police investigation, we will not be providing any further comment.’
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: ‘We were called to reports of a public order incident at 7.10pm at a premises on Holbeach Road in Spalding. Investigations are ongoing.’
