Rams to host Packers in NFL’s first ‘Thanksgiving Eve’ game

The Rams will kick off Thanksgiving weekend a little early this year, hosting the Green Bay Packers on Wednesday, Nov. 25.

The game, which will be broadcast on Netflix, will be the first “Thanksgiving eve” game in NFL history.

Both the Rams and Netflix announced the game on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, one day ahead of the NFL’s schedule release Thursday.

The Rams and Packers last squared off Oct. 6, 2024, when the Packers rallied for a 24-19 victory at SoFi Stadium.

This is the second game revealed for the Rams’ 2026 season. The team will open the season against the San Francisco 49ers in Melbourne, Australia, on Thursday, Sept. 10. That game will also be broadcast on Netflix.

That trip across the Pacific Ocean will contribute significantly to the Rams’ projected 34,847 miles of travel this season.
