Randy’s and Dunkin’ are selling Dodger-themed doughnuts

Excitement over the Dodgers’ prospects of winning two World Series in a row is spilling over into doughnut shops.

Both Randy’s Donuts and Dunkin’ are selling Dodger blue doughnuts throughout Southern California.

Randy’s, based in Inglewood, is bringing back the Bavarian cream-filled doughnut it served for the 2024 World Series, in which the Dodgers defeated the New York Yankees, 4 games to 1. The doughnut has Dodgers-blue icing and a white LA logo. It costs $4.20 each, according to a news release.

Dunkin’ is selling a “Blue Batter” donut it describes as a yeast ring with vanilla icing and blue sprinkles. They cost about $1.89 each.

Dunkin’ is based in Massachusetts, home of the Boston Red Sox, but has been the official coffee and doughnut partner of the Dodgers since 2021.

The Dodgers have won the first two games against the Milwaukee Brewers in the National League Championship Series, giving them a good chance to advance to the World Series. The American League Championship Series is underway with the Seattle Mariners leading the Toronto Blue Jays.

Both Randy’s and Dunkin’ also have Halloween promotions going, with doughnuts decorated like spiders.
