The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified a 22-year-old man who was fatally shot Sunday morning in Fuller Park as Mikquale Cooper of Chicago.
A manager with AMF Music Group confirmed Cooper was the rap artist who performed as BloodHound Q50.
Chicago police said Cooper was in a car around 4 a.m. in the 4200 block of South Wentworth Avenue when two cars pulled up alongside and several people in both vehicles fired shots at him, according to police.
Cooper was shot in the chest and shoulder.
He was treated by Chicago Fire Department personnel and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
No one has been arrested, police said.
