A DEPRAVED killer who beat teacher Sabina Nessa to death will spend longer behind bars after stabbing a prison officer with a piece of broken toilet.
Koci Selamaj, 36, “charged at” two workers at Frankland Prison, County Durham, which has been dubbed “Monster Mansion”.

He was handed a life sentence for the brutal murder of Sabina as she walked to a pub in Kidbrooke, South East London, to meet an old pal.
The primary school teacher, 28, was ambushed then beaten to death in a “premeditated and predatory” stranger attack.
Selamaj has now been sentenced to a further four-and-a-half years after he admitted wounding one person with intent and assaulting another, causing actual bodily harm.
Newcastle Crown Court heard prison staff had been doing rounds when they heard smashing sounds coming from the killer’s cell.
They went to investigate and discovered his toilet had been “significantly smashed”.
Selamaj then “charged” at the officers brandishing a shard piece of porcelain.
He slashed at one officer – causing a wound to his knee and forearm – before punching the second two or three times in the face.
In a victim impact statement, the stabbed officer said: “I’m not scared to return to work as I believe Selamaj has a problem with me and hopefully I wont have to see him again.
“My family have been really concerned since the incident.
“I love my job but I didn’t expect to be assaulted.
“The results could have been a lot worse. His strength is unbelievable, I fell very lucky, it could have been a lot worse.
“He’s in prison for murder so I know what he’s capable of.”
Selamaj, who is now at Broadmoor top security hospital, will serve the additional sentence after the 36-year minimum term of his life sentence for killing Sabina.
The coward was sentenced in his absence for Sabina’s murder in April 2022 after refusing to attend court.
Selamaj had lay in wait for a victim after driving from his home in Eastbourne, East Sussex, to London to attack a woman using “extreme violence”.
Chilling CCTV footage captured the monster checking no one was watching before he started to run after terrified Sabina on September 17.
The monster pounced on her and battered her 34 times with a 2ft metal weapon – believed to be a red road sign – so savagely it broke into pieces.
He was then filmed carrying her away unconscious into the darkness.
The Albanian national is believed to have strangled her in undergrowth in what is suspected to have been a sexually motivated attack.
Sabina’s body was found by a dog walker covered in leaves near the OpenSpace community centre the following day just 200 yards from her home.
Selamaj pleaded guilty to murder after being arrested in Eastbourne days after the brutal killing.
Sabina’s death also sparked outrage after she joined a growing list of women killed in public spaces in London.
