SANTA CLARA – Authorities on Monday were investigating an attempted bank robbery near Santa Clara University.
The incident was reported just after 3 p.m. at the Wells Fargo at 1111 Washington St., said Santa Clara police Lt. Cuong Phan.
No one was injured, Phan said.
Additional details about the incident, including a description of the suspect, were not immediately available.
