A sex offender who assaulted a child was accused of ‘lying through her teeth’ as she was sentenced to jail.
Natalie Wolf, 47, claimed that both the police and the jury were under the influence of hypnosis.
Her conspiracy theories were rejected by a judge at Newcastle Crown Court, who said Wolf had falsely portrayed herself as a victim.
The victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said in a statement read out in court that Wolf ‘destroyed’ her childhood and that she was still ‘lying through her teeth’.

She said: ‘There are few things more isolating than living in a body you don’t feel safe in. I’ve carried shame, self-doubt and a sense of disconnection from myself.
‘I’m left carrying what they did. It made my body feel like a battlefield. Watching them celebrate their life and body feels like salt in my wounds.’
The victim said her abuser ‘destroyed me as a child, a teenager and an adult’.
‘Today, you are finally going to face justice,’ the victim added.
Judge Gavin Doig dismissed Wolf’s claims that she had been convicted by a jury planted with people who dislike her.
He told the sex offender: ‘You are not the victim of a conspiracy. You are not the victim at all. [Victim’s name] is the victim and the sooner you accept that, the better it will be going forward.

‘You will be released from prison in due course. I hope you are able to move on and receive the help you need.’
Wolf was handed a sentence of three-and-a-half years imprisonment as well as an indefinite restraining order and a sexual harm prevention order.
She will also appear on the sex offenders’ register for life.
Wolf said she would appeal, claiming that someone else had committed the offence.
She further accused the victim of lying in her account, denying that she was ‘sexually attracted to females in that way’.
