Now that longtime Sky sharpshooter Allie Quigley is officially retired, the team announced Wednesday that it will raise her No. 14 to the rafters at its July 9 game against the Wings.
Hers will be the first number the Sky retire, with Candace Parker’s No. 3 set to go up Aug. 25.
Quigley was a three-time All-Star and a key piece of the 2021 championship team during her decade with the Sky. She was their all-time leading scorer until last month, when her wife, Courtney Vandersloot, broke her mark.

She was on the brink of slipping out of the WNBA entirely when she signed with the Sky in 2013. The move ignited her career.
Quigley, who’s from Joliet and played at DePaul, spent 14 years in the league, including time with the Storm, Mercury, Fever and San Antonio Silver Stars.
