Standoff ends with arrests at Kenwood home

Two people were led away in handcuffs after an apparent SWAT situation ended Tuesday afternoon in Kenwood.

The incident happened in the 4300 block of South Lake Park Avenue, according to Chicago Fire Department spokesperson Larry Merritt.

No injuries have been reported.

As of early afternoon, a Sun-Times photographer witnessed two people being led away in handcuffs. Officers were leaving the scene.

Chicago police had no further information immediately available.
