Swimsuits stolen from Los Gatos stores

May 19

PETTY THEFT: 11:47 a.m. at Time Out Clothing on North Santa Cruz Avenue. Three swimsuits were stolen.

PETTY THEFT: 2:47 p.m. at Xander Swimwear on North Santa Cruz Avenue. A swimsuit was stolen.

May 21

GRAND THEFT: 3:06 p.m. at Los Gatos High School: A  caller reported his son’s blue Super73 ebike stolen.

PETTY THEFT: 3:20 p.m. on Longridge Road. A caller reported that a handgun had been taken out of their unlocked vehicle in the past 10 days.

May 22

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: 4:20 p.m. on Crescent Drive. A caller reported that a man was taking photos of their neighbor’s house and possibly looking at Amazon packages. The man said he was from a bank and needed photos.

May 23

LOUD MUSIC: 10:20 a.m. on Placer Oaks Road. A caller reported a constant issue with a resident playing loud music through backyard speakers. The caller checked noise level via his phone decibel reader and it was at 61db. The caller sent an anonymous letter to resident, and they must’ve figured out it was him because yesterday the teenage son came over to speak to him about the letter. The caller was looking for a way to mediate the situation, as he doesn’t want to have tensions with his neighbor. He was referred to code compliance to see if they can start a mediation process.

PENAL CODE VIOLATION: 2:22 p.m. at Daves Ave School on Daves Avenue. A parent was on campus holding a Mike’s hard lemonade and a baby, waiting for son to get out. He was arrested.
