Kevin Hart and Topgolf, a chain of high-tech sports complexes, are partnering with Taco Bell on an “unconventional” nine-hole golf tournament in Orange County.
Nine fans will have a shot at participating in the event, Live Mas Open, hosted by the comedian on Nov. 2 at The Ranch at Laguna Beach, according to a news release from the Irvine-based fast food giant.
The Ranch is an 87-acre resort in a canyon near Aliso Beach. It has a nine-hole course.
Nine foursomes will compete in the tournament, each with one fan, a celebrity, an athlete and a creator, the news release said.
The winning foursome will get a trophy, purple jackets and the ability to bring back a Taco menu item for a limited time at participating locations in 2027.
The tourney will include a live team draft and “exclusive golf-inspired food and beverages,” the news release said.
To qualify, golfers must play a golf game called Shot Shuttle at Topgolf between Thursday, Sept. 10 and Sept. 27. There are three Southern California locations, in Ontario, Montebello and El Segundo.
