As Circuit Zandvoort prepares for its final Dutch Grand Prix, TAG Heuer is honoring the historic racetrack with two new limited-edition timepieces courtesy of the Swiss watchmaker’s Formula 1 Solargraph 38 mm collection. Drawing inspiration from the intense seaside circuit known for its sweeping dunes, tight corners, and passionate fans, the new releases are imbued with the high-octane heritage of modern motorsport.

First introduced in 1986, TAG’s Formula 1 line brought bold colors and racing spirit to everyday watch enthusiasts. This latest release pays homage to those horological origins by returning to a compact 38 mm case. Crafted from sandblasted stainless steel for a sleek matte finish, the case is paired with a light-absorbing grey opaline dial, red lacquered hands, and an orange TH-Polylight bidirectional bezel featuring the brand’s classic daisy motif.

The two models showcase vibrant orange and red minuterie flanges that reflect the high-octane energy of the Dutch stands. Inside, the watches are driven by the innovative Solargraph movement. Utilizing natural or artificial light, a single minute of direct sunlight powers the watch for a full day, while a full 40-hour charge provides up to ten months of operation in total darkness. The rechargeable accumulator offers an impressive lifespan of up to 15 years, ensuring lasting reliability.

TAG Heuer offers the tribute in two distinct configurations, each delivered in custom limited-edition packaging. The first model is capped at 1,500 pieces and comes fitted with a bright orange rubber strap, while the second is limited to 1,000 pieces and features a three-row steel bracelet with a double safety folding clasp. Both models are water-resistant to 100 meters and feature eggshell Super-LumiNova indexes for low-light visibility.

The dual timepiece collection is available starting this month, priced at $2,150 for the rubber strap model and $2,250 for the stainless steel bracelet edition.
