A 37-year-old man who was shot in the chest in Tarzana is in critical condition Saturday and the shooter is on the run, authorities said.
Officers were called at 1:42 a.m. Saturday to the 4700 block of Corbin Avenue, where they were told by witnesses that the victim and the suspect had gotten into an argument, a Los Angeles police spokesperson said.
The suspect drew a gun and shot the victim before running away, police said.
The victim was taken to a hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics in critical condition.
Police are searching for the suspect, who remains at large.
