Teyana Taylor is rarely at rest, from the big screen to the stage to the fashion inspiration board, teasing an upcoming Air Jordan collaboration that marks her third link-up with the iconic sportswear brand.
In an Instagram post, Taylor shared a sneak peek from a recent Air Jordan collaboration meeting, showing off her two previous releases with the Nike-owned brand. Her first Jordan collaboration featured a fiery update to the Air Jordan 1, part of her efforts to deliver “artistry” to the collection, Nike noted at the time. Earlier this year, the Oscar-nominated actress and Maxim Hot 100 cover star worked with the company on the 2026 Air Jordan 3 Concrete Rose.
The “One Battle After Another” actress also delivered an apparel collaboration alongside the sportswear retailer,” one that Nike said would expand “the culture of basketball for a new generation.” The collection draws inspiration from Taylor’s prized metaphor of a rose rising out of the concrete in a symbol of overcoming struggle.
The former Maxim cover beauty is certainly a known sneakerhead, according to HighSnobiety. “Since her youth, Taylor has been in possession of some of the most coveted kicks,” the publication said. It appears Taylor has good (and suitably rare) taste in sneakers, HighSnobiety continues. “You might catch her in Off-White’s Sail AJ4s one day, then the J Balvin x Air Jordan 2s the next day.”
At the core of her apparel collection with Nike was a blend of comfort and streetwear edge, Nike said, specifically calling out an ultra-comfortable jumpsuit made to show off fresh Nike kicks. “With its plush feel and unique layered look, this jumpsuit captures the softness and edge of Tey’s signature bloom,” Nike noted of Taylor’s work with the legendary athletic brand.
If past collaborations are anything to go off, Taylor very likely might have her pick of the litter as far as updates to archival and classic Nike designs are considered. As streetwear outlet Hypebeast notes, few details are available for her third partnership with Nike as of yet, including exact design and styles or a release timeline. Taylor teased fans on social media about the design collaboration, playfully asking “Which AJ y’all think I’m coming with next?!” For now, sneakerheads will have to keep a keen eye out for the next Teyana Taylor x Air Jordan installment.
