“The Real Housewives of Orange County” returns for its 20th season on July 9, followed a month later by a new series to celebrate 20 years of Housewives everywhere, the network announced on Monday, May 11.
When “The Real Housewives of Orange County” returns in July, its cast will include Vicki Gunvalson, the OG of the OC, as Vicki often refers to herself due to her place as the last-housewife-standing from the season that launched all that followed.
Vicki returns after several years off the show to join fellow Orange County housewives Tamra Judge, Shannon Storms Beador, Heather DuBrow, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson and Jenn Pedranti.
Vicki is also part of a new Bravo series, “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th,” which premieres on Aug. 9.
On it, Vicki, and six other “franchise-defining” housewives, will travel around the country with stops in Orange County, Beverly Hills, Atlanta, Miami and New York City to revisit the history and lore of those cities’ Housewives franchises.
In addition to Vicki, “Ultimate Girls Trip” includes Luann de Lesseps of “The Real Housewives of New York City,” Porsha Williams “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Teresa Giudice of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Kyle Richards of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Gizelle Bryant of “The Real Housewives of Potomac,” and Lisa Barlow of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.”
As they hopscotch around the country, they’ll get together with more from different cities and eras.
“Starting where it all began in Orange County and culminating in an epic East Coast grand finale, each stop will feature appearances by fan favorites from different cities to pay tribute to the past, embrace the present, and look toward the many miles still ahead,” Bravo said in a written statement about “Ultimate Girls Trip.”
“Along the way, viewers can expect nostalgic reunions, heartfelt revelations, effortless humor, and the larger-than-life dynamics that only Housewives can deliver.”
